Atilana Piñon is a lifelong entrepreneur, product strategist and angel investor, and the co-founder and chairperson of Retorna, a fintech company building financial products for migrant communities. She began working in her family business at the age of nine and has since co-founded B2C and B2B ventures across multiple countries, developing a particular strength for turning real-world problems into scalable businesses. At Retorna, Atilana helped grow the company to more than 200,000 monthly customers, reaching profitability while sustaining double-digit monthly growth in its first year. Previously, she led CityWallet, the first IoT micropayments network for parking in Venezuela, navigating an economy with inflation exceeding 1,000%. Having lived across Latin America and Europe, Atilana’s own immigrant journey deeply shapes the way she builds. She combines customer insight, product strategy and commercial execution to create inclusive financial products that solve tangible problems in people’s everyday lives. Alongside building companies, Atilana is an angel investor supporting entrepreneurs tackling meaningful problems.
